NICOLA Sturgeon has been accused of ignoring Scotland’s fishermen with her desperate bid to keep the country inside the European Union.

On Monday, the First Minister announced she was forging ahead with her new Scottish independence bid, in a hope the country could remain part of the Brussels bloc. 

The SNP leader believes it’s vital for Scotland’s economy to stay within the EU’s single market. However, she has been blasted for shunning the Scottish fishing industry, worth more than £429 million to Scots’ coffers, according to latest figures.
