England WIN Test Opener.

Joe Root began his career as test captain with a fine win against South Africa with a day to spare.
Contrary to hopes and expectations, the South African attack unexpectedly smashed its way through the England batting lineup in the morning session, taking an incredible seven wickets. The England tail 'wagged' sufficiently to ensure that a target of 300+ was set for the visitors to chase for victory.
However, the clues were all there from the England collapse during the morning.

This was not a pitch that batsmen could trust and hardly before you had blinked, Mo Ali had spun England to victory with 6 more victims and remarkable match figures of 10 for 112.
This was a game which, to a large extent, was decided by who won the toss on Day One. Just nineteen test wickets in a single day!!!
Massively entertaining stuff! England won by 211 runs.
