I never cut off my nose to spite my face, so I shall not be abandoning those businesses which direct my telephone calls to heavily accented people in Uttar Pradesh or wherever and cause me untold hours of grief whenever I try to resolve a minor problem.BUT before I offer any future firm my valuable business, it will not be before I have received assurances that my calls will be answered promptly in a language recognisable as being English.
