In Huddersfield, and featured last night on Look North, was a Restorative Justice Programme which is most impressive.No chance of reduced sentences - but the offenders meet their victims AFTER imprisonment.
The inherent weaknesses of the deeply flawed previous attempts have thus been addressed.
It should attract and challenge the genuinely remorseful.
