Analysis of Sheffield Council Result Shows Up FPTP Flaws.

UKIP 10.5% Green 10.4%
So. Why does The Green Party have one councillor and came within a hairsbreadth of a second last week?
Simples! Their support is heavily congregated in several wards and with shockingly few votes in others.
UKIP's votes were generally well spread. You pay a price for that! Zero representation!
Under proper PR, UKIP and the Greens would have had three seats each and the Conservatives two.
Labour and Lib Dems have profited from FPTP - big-style!
