Time To Despair!


A lawyer who has defended terror suspects including radical Islamic cleric Abu Qatada is in line to become Britain’s next judge at the controversial European Court of Human Rights.
Ben Emmerson QC is seen as the strongest candidate on a Government shortlist of three for the nine-year, £150,000 tax-free post at the Strasbourg court. The Council of Europe is due to decide on Tuesday.
