The Fairminded Cannot Argue.

Meritocracy not tokenism.

IT is unreasonable to blame Jeremy Paxman for his Newsnight roasting of Junior Minister Chloe Smith. The culprit is David Cameron.
His quota system promotes some woman way beyond their experience and competence. This is very noticeable in my “parliament”, when some of the performances from quota cuties of all parties are toe-curlingly bad.
Of course this is also harms talented women who are lumped in with the make-weights.
The sooner we get back to meritocracy, not gender or skin colour, the better.
