'I'm Backing Britain.'??? - Sense From Mr Sheridan In The Yorks Post BUT ...

Many years ago we had a “Back Britain” campaign with the government of the day urging us to “Buy British!” – well, quite frankly I think we ought to resurrect that campaign and begin to buy and demand items “Made in Britain”be it manufactured goods or UK home grown produce, and not only would that guarantee quality but would help our economy by providing jobs for folk. Let’s face it, the current economic policies of the coalition are failing miserably with more and more people losing their jobs thanks to foreign imports.Given that we have the ability, ingenuity and the labour force, I’m sure we could pull ourselves out of the recession – however until the banks stop hoarding the money that was given to them to ‘lend’ to small businesses to expand, we shall not get anywhere – and once again it seems it’s the big banks that are holding us back through greed!

THE SMALL PROBLEM IS THAT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BY THE EUROPEAN UNION!
