Expats.

'British figures indicate that just as many UK citizens live in the EU as vice-versa, despite popular perceptions.' EU Observer.
This may well be but does not help us a great deal. The bulk of our expats have taken money out of the UK with many spending their retirements in the sun.
The majority of those who come here are close to penniless. Money out - money not coming back in.
Further and higher education can bring money into the country from temporary students but as Panorama has shown - it brings countless illegals with it.
