Church leaders gather in London as Nigerian crisis continues

It is thought that at least 250 people have been killed in Nigeria this week at the hands of Islamic group Boko Haram, including nearly fifty in a devastating attack on the village of Bardari near Maiduguri in the north-east of the country.
Attackers arrived at the village calling on people to gather to hear them preach - before opening fire on them, killing 45. Around 200 others are believed to have been killed by gunmen in military dress in attacks on other villages during the week. Boko Haram kidnapped 200 school-girls in April who are still being held.
