Alan Craig on Christ's Teaching on Homosexuality.

Christian campaigner, Alan Craig, has warned against "self-serving" misrepresentations of Jesus' teachings on homosexuality, spread by prominent celebrities and commentators seeking to advance a "personal agenda."
Alan Craig points out that Luke Tryl, a prominent LGBT campaigner who was recently appointed as Special Adviser to Education Secretary, Nicky Morgan, wrongly promotes the idea that since Jesus was not recorded in the Gospels as expressly mentioning same-sex relationships, "Jesus never condemned homosexuality."
Alan describes the suggestion as “naïve” and says the only logical conclusion would be to argue that other forms of sexual immorality, such as incest and paedophilia, were not prohibited since they were not directly mentioned by Jesus.
"It’s a self-serving and untrue conclusion that cheapens the radical demands which Jesus lays on all his followers," he said.
"As is well known, the ‘Law of Moses’ found in these scriptures is formidably firm about much sexual morality: for instance it specifically prohibits incest (Leviticus 18:6f), adultery (20:10) and bestiality (20:15) as well as homosexuality (18:22). Did Jesus try to alter or amend this Law? Absolutely not; he told his followers specifically that he did not come to change even 'a jot or tittle' of the Law."
