Whether it be the tories, the liberal left or the hard left - they
refuse to see what is staring them right in the face.
Nanny state thinking is despised. 'We-know-what-is-best-for-you
politics' has been scorned. The people hate being told how to think. The
electorate have had enough of political correctness. They see through empty
promises. The political class is considered untrustworthy. The people want
DEMOCRACY and only UKIP is offering any!
The giant worry is that in the General Election in May, huge
numbers of voters will return to old voting habits. This is the biggest chance
for change since Dick Taverne in 1973. Voters reverted to type in 1974 and
tragically, so badly affected was Mr Taverne that he went on to become a Lib Dem
- poor chap.
See how many saddo politicos will now churn out the usual poo:
lessons have been learned; we are sorry; we promise to ... And so ad
infinitum.
I'll bet the tories are having kittens about Rochester and Strood,
this morning. Wonder if there'll be any more defections between now and
May?
