Freedom To Believe.


Freedom of belief is vital for democracy, a conference in Westminster was told this week. Speaking at the 'Case for Christian Freedoms' event, organised by Voice for Justice to coincide with the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta, Professor Roger Trigg observed "All freedom stems from the freedom to believe. It is the cornerstone of democracy, the basis of freedom. You can't have freedom without it." Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali also addressed the gathering.  Christian Concern.
