"What larks, eh, Pip?"
Classic FM's Hall of Famehas Lark Ascending by R. Vaughan Williams as the UK's favourite classical piece. It was recently used at the funeral of a friend who died tragically young and yesterday, I had the treat of hearing the real thing near Paull Church in East Yorkshire. Living in a city makes hearing 'the blithe spirit' a most occasional treat but I do see some different types in Spain most years.
