Cameron's EU renegotiation branded a 'con job' amid plans to 'stage row with France.'
EUROSCEPTICS have reacted with fury amid reports that David Cameron will stage "a big row" with France as part of an elaborate plot to sway British voters.
The Prime Minister's plans for renegotiating
Britain's relationship with the EU were dismissed as nothing more than a "con
job" today as his alleged tactics for a promised in/out referendum were
revealed.
Andrew Lansley, the former health secretary, reportedly revealed in a
speech last week that Mr Cameron will fight to stay in the EU, despite
suggestions he will not win "revolutionary" reforms.
He is also said to have disclosed that the long-awaited referendum is
scheduled for next September to avoid clashing with local elections next May and
the Tory party conference in early
October. Express.
