Mrs Blogger and I watched Series 1 and complained about the many inaccuracies from the 1950s. By Series 2 - virtually everything has become an anachronism. Silly plots and a reality that was simply unbelievable hardly helped the customary mediocre acting of Robson Green. The worst feature has been the imposition of 2016 'social values' onto a programme set in the early 50s. Ridiculous! Gotta say that I do not like any of the characters and am asking myself why we watched the series for so long before finally drawing a line under it last night. Pretty scenery cannot compensate for poor television!
