Coffee Prices.

Sir,
Germany sells more than £4 billion dollars worth of processed, African coffee per year. That figure, from just one EU nation out of 28, exceeds all profits for all African coffee growers put together.

EU tariffs on raw coffee beans are very low but tariffs on the finished products are astronomical. This is how the EU contributes to keeping poor countries poor and coffee expensive in our shops.
