' a peace dividend' but History suggests a rather different
story.
Here we see how we began WW Two at a major
disadvantage - exactly the same as it had been in World War One (Naval
exceptions notwithstanding.)
It had been just the same prior to the
Napoleonic wars, of course, and to some extent, regarding The Crimea. It may be that a percentage of the monies spent is, to some
