For the first time ever, last year more humanist wedding ceremonies took place in Scotland than those conducted by the Church of Scotland. Christian Concern.
No bad thing, really. I'm fed up of people making vows to God who don't even believe in Him just so that they can wed in a 'pretty church' - or for other fatuous reasons.
