AN experienced nurse was sacked for offering to pray with fellow Christians before surgery. Sister Sarah Kuteh, who has 15 years experience, was dismissed for breaching guidelines.
Despite patients always being asked questions about their religion before surgery, chiefs at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust said her “unwanted discussions” had offended patients.
The mother of three is now suing the Trust, which runs Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, after she was suspended and removed from the premises.
