Copenhagen's iconic Little Mermaid statue is doused in red paint by animal rights activists protesting against whale slaughter.
I visited the Little Mermaid not so very long ago and loved the statue. I want to see an end to the slaughter of whales too - but who can really think that this silliest of all protests can do any good whatsoever?
