Logically, Why DO We Reject God's Teaching?

So, why do we make so many excuses to reject God and The Bible?

The answer is all too simple. 'We want what we want and God can just push off - after all - what does He know? It's MY life and so I'll live it like I choose! Ergo God cannot exist!'
