The British Union Of Fascists.

This Blog has long been at pains to point out the dishonest manner in which the left has tried to hijack the word 'right-wing' for their own nefarious purposes and self-disguises. On so many levels, it is a scandal.
 In 1936, The BUF changed its name to 'The British Union of Fascists and National Socialists'. (Perhaps the title contained a clue.)
Again, we must note that this was a socialist organisation - and in no lesser manner than with its nauseating equivalents in Germany and Italy.
Mosley himself began as a Tory MP, switched to Labour on his inexorable, leftward, anti-semitic journey.
I am not saying that Labour, Lib Dems, Greens et al are not thoroughly of the left that we would recognise today - they are.
That is not the point, however.
Everybody knows that the more extreme offshoots of their philosophy may well lead to assorted brands of communism - BUT, WHY ARE THEY NOT ALSO HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SOCIALIST BELIEFS, INHERENT AS A CLEARLY IDENTIFIED STARTING POINT, WITHIN FASCISM ALSO?
Socialism is like viewing a series of bowls of paraffin, petrol and other flammable liquids, and in their centre sits a six year playing uncomprehendingly with a box of matches!
Any philosophy which deifies Man is always going to bring trouble to mankind as a whole.
It wouldn't be quite so bad from a risk-taking point of view if socialism were riddled with successes rather than countless failures which often lead to tens of millions of deaths.
