RIP Len Tingle: I Echo The Sentiments Below Having Encountered Him - The BBC At Its Neutral Best!

Shocked and saddened to read of this. My first experiences of being interviewed for TV were by Len Tingle back in 2004 IIRC. Not many journalists measured up to his standards - a true gentleman with a fine sense of humour, who knew his profession inside out. RIP Len Tingle.

It’s with great sadness we share the news that BBC Yorkshire’s Political Editor Len Tingle has died at the age of 63. He'd been suffering from stomach cancer.
