Senate Confirms Brett Kavanaugh to Supreme Court by 50-48 Vote
In what has been billed as a historic vote Saturday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Brett Kavanaugh as justice to the Supreme Court by a vote of 50-48. Kavanaugh was sworn in as the 102nd associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court in a private ceremony. Christian Post.
Blogger. In the UK, we pay little attention to American Supreme Court issues but the Kavanaugh case is one where serious attention should be given.
This matter has shown up for what it is, all the bile, backstabbing and pure nastiness of the left. It has demonstrated the lengths to which they are prepared to go to foist their noxious agenda onto the unsuspecting public.
The politicking has been far more important to them than any of the issues which turned Kavanaugh into such a bogeyman figure.
Was Kavanaugh appalling as a youth? - Quite probably.
Was he guilty of anything? - There was no reliable evidence to suggest that he was - and yet, the left wanted to hang him out to dry, decades later, on the basis of mere suspicion. (Try imagining what would happen if Republicans were to try the same tricks on a Democrat. All hell would have broken loose.)
The good thing about all of this is that a great many Americans have now recognised how toxic the left really is and polls are already showing that there may well be electoral consequences for the Democrats.
