Weather Forecasting.

Barely a day goes by without my finding myself irritated, yet again, with the ongoing inefficiency of weather forecasting. It is a thorough disgrace to the point of being little use. (Is it just me but are they actually getting worse, year on year?)

Their little sleight of hand of covering everything with 30 - 50% 'chances of' surely fools nobody. It means that being wrong appears to have become impossible.

But it has not! When you are standing in rain, for the umpteenth time in a month when cloud and sunshine had been predicted ...

They cannot forecast two days ahead and yet, they purport to be able to tell us where our climate is going to be two decades hence.
