' You could always tell anyone who starts to lecture you about climate change that you have a friend who will never accept the Climate Change Criers. Tell them that your friend has hurdles for them to cross before he will talk to them about Climate Change:
Hurdle 1 - The last car that they owned was 41 years ago
Hurdle 2 - They have been a vegetarian for at least 29 years
Hurdle 3 - They have crossed the vast majority of Asia and Europe by public land transport
Hurdle 4 - They have an academic degree in a pure science and have post-nominals after their name denoting their chartered status and their fellowship to a world leading scientific institution
Hurdle 5 - They have worked and lived on at least 6 continents.
Hurdle 6 - They have been very successful in their profession and recognised by at least one government as having contributed much to the development of such country(s).
Hurdle 7 - They have been published internationally by writing a scientific paper
If ALL the above hurdles can be met, as your friend has done, then your friend would be willing to talk to them about Climate Change. For those who have not met the above hurdles, then tell them that your friend says that they are hypocrites.'
