                       Did Boris actually lie? - Probably. Don't know for sure.

How bovvered am I? - Definitely a bit bovvered.
Is it a hanging offence? - No!

Now. Let us turn to Edward Heath in 1975.
Did he lie calculatedly to get people LIKE ME to vote to stay in the EU? (A decision that has wracked my conscience ever since.)
Yes. Indubitably. Through his teeth in a matter of momentous importance.
Was it a hanging offence?
Yes. Literally so. He treacherously betrayed our nation to foreign powers and lied about it until just a few months before his death when he confessed on TV.
Against this backcloth, how important is the difference between a wanton, treasonous act and a meeting with wine and nibbles? Huh?
