Oh Dear, Liz.

 The Tories are doomed! 

As ever,  they seem incapable of reading the mood of the nation.

The mini budget may or may not succeed but Liz Truss has utterly failed to grasp that, for many elections now, a huge proportion of voters have been alienated by politicians for failing to attack the migration crisis.

Boris let us down badly in delivering Brexit - did he ever intend to do it properly?

Against a backcloth of another huge increase in the numbers of migration visas issued, all placed alongside the sickening absence of determination to stop the criminals from Calais - Joe Public has simply had enough.

Labour will be considerably worse but the view is that the Tories MUST now be punished. 

They yielded to French fishermen; we remain in the ECHR; the Northern Ireland protocol remains like a gaping wound; criminals go unpunished - the list is a long one. On top of this, they are still talking about a bonfire of EU regulations after being in office the SIX years since Brexit!

I expect that anyone with right-of-centre views will now boycott the party even if the mini budget were to become a roaring success - and the jury is certainly still out on that one!

You might get away with all of this if there were four years remaining in which to repair the damage but the General Election is just two years away.

The Conservative Party is dead! Suicide is never pretty.
