The Small Woman.

As a child, when I was at Methodist Sunday School in Mablethorpe - it seemed that after Jesus, the next most-mentioned person was Gladys Aylward.

Blogger: One must perhaps wonder why the feminists did not turn her into one of their greatest icons - perhaps the UK's greatest ever missionary (though comparisons are odious, of course) but she was a tremendous Christian and her works were beyond awesome. (Ah. I may have answered my own question!)
A frail and fragile 4' 10 - she saved both lives and souls across China.
I endorse this video.
People like Gladys make me proud to be a Christian.
The 1958 film of her life, The Inn of The Sixth Happiness, was superb with the awesome Ingrid Bergman playing Gladys.
Ah. Those happy, bygone days when Methodism was still a Christian Church.

Bless You Clive!
