Mayflower Church members settling in Texas!

A number of families from the Chinese ‘Mayflower Church’ are establishing a permanent home in Texas, Release International’s partner for China has reported.

More than 60 members of what was the Shenzhen Holy Reformed Church escaped harsh persecution in China, late in 2019. Spells in South Korea and Thailand followed. They were detained in Thailand’s Immigration Detention Centre, before the US government intervened. Most of the families arrived in the States earlier this year. They have now moved to be closer to Release International’s partner’s Texas base.

‘These faithful Christians have built up so much momentum since coming to the United States in early April – from studying English, to going to school, to working hard to provide for their families,’ said our partner.
