Cambridgeshire Knife Attacks.

PASSENGERS ON TRAIN ATTACKED BY LUNATICS WITH KNIVES.

This is just one more horror that we have been trained to cope with by the the wicked, unfeeling left who bleat that 'harsh punishments do not work'. Some know they are lying many are just deluded. Why do we allow their 'finer feelings' to prevail?

Give me ONE year and and a free hand - I will cut this abomination in our society by 90%+.

People who carry illicit, killing weapons must be birched or beaten as seen so successfully practised in Singapore.

That punishment must be added to minimum prison sentences of three years to be served by any who use weapons to threaten.

Those who actually use a knife must receive a minimum sentence to be served of ten years. No remission.

 - It would take at least six months for the scum of the streets to acclimatise to the new situation. Knife crime would still drop rapidly but once it is seen that the courts are using mandatory, ultra-tough sentences the drop would be phenomenal.

DETERRENCE works with the vast majority of people. Why have we pretended that this is not the case.

In 1971, I contacted the Home Office and (remarkably) they gave me the murder stats post abolition of capital punishment.

On an attached note they said "as you will see - the murder rate has not increased." This was a substantial lie and I refuted it just by reading ahead.

In the 20th century only 1/16 murderers was hanged. That gave us great protection. What if the situation had seen executions rise to, say, 10/16? Lives of the innocent matter more than those who have opted to kill.

Deterrence works. Once again - I refer you to the tiny murder rates evidenced in Singapore.

Remember: give me no 'what ifs'. All who face these very stern punishments would be volunteers who have 'opted in'. Their call!

This individual awoke, fully safe in the knowledge that he can NEVER face execution. So tremendously heartwarming!
