Labour LIARS! Immigration shambles was DELIBERATE!

'Labour has always justified immigration on economic grounds and denied it was using it to foster multiculturalism.
But suspicions of a secret agenda rose when Andrew Neather, a former government adviser and speech writer for Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett, said the aim of Labour’s immigration strategy was to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date’.
Mr Neather said he helped to write the 2000 report which outlined a strategy to ‘open up the UK to mass migration’.
The document was not published in its original format over fears of an adverse public reaction. Instead it was released a year later as a research document on the economic benefits of migration.
Mr Neather’s claims last October were denied by ministers, including Justice Secretary Jack Straw, who said they were nonsense.
A draft of the original Cabinet Office report has now been published following a freedom of information request by Migrationwatch.

It contains six references to social policy, all of which were removed from the later, published version.'

NO FURTHER COMMENT - MY TITLE SAYS IT ALL!

Leftie poison.

Last evening I was at Brantwood Independent Girls School in Sheffield which is tragically to close with virtually no notice.
This all girls school has had problems with the Royal Bank of Scotland which has pulled the plug after scandalously revaluing the premises at a much lower figure than reality would dictate.
I have met senior staff, teachers, parents and pupils who are have all been gutted in and in some cases have had their lives literally ruined.
It was not a happy time! Parents who had foregone luxuries to educate their daughters are left high and dry.
The previous night however, I spoke to one parent who had been online and had been horrified to find a large number of posters crowing at the demise of this fine institution. They were rejoicing and going into paroxysms of uncontrolled delight. Perhaps those who do not grasp how the left think will not have even half an idea of the vindictiveness; the evil; the unmitigated nastiness of socialists and marxists.
They are naturally malicious, spiteful and sick-minded as their default position. How could anybody normal possibly revel in the misfortune of these girls, their families and 30 staff losing their jobs?
The left deserve no respect whatsoever.
Shame on any Christian who cannot see what is blindingly obvious!

Does Harperson NEVER shut up?

'Given Harriet Harman's crusade for political correctness, it is surprising that it has lasted so long.
But the word 'chairman' is finally under threat of being unseated.
Miss Harman, the leader of the Commons, wants to ban the term and force MPs to refer to the gender-neutral 'chair' or ' occupant of the chair'.

I do not know if it's true - but the odds make it seem likely!

'A Christian teacher yesterday claimed he was forced out of his job after complaining that Muslim pupils as young as eight hailed the September 11 hijackers as heroes.
Nicholas Kafouris, 52, is suing his former school for racial discrimination.
He told a tribunal that he had to leave his £30,000-a-year post because he would not tolerate the 'racist' and 'anti-Semitic' behaviour of Year 4 pupils.
The predominantly Muslim youngsters openly praised Islamic extremists in class and described the September 11 terrorists as 'heroes and martyrs'.
One pupil said: 'Don't touch me, you're a Christian' when he brushed against him.
Others said: 'We want to be Islamic bombers when we grow up', and 'The Christians and Jews are our enemies - you too because you're a Christian'.
Mr Kafouris, a Greek Cypriot, taught for 12 years at Bigland Green Primary School in Tower Hamlets, East London.
According to Ofsted 'almost all' its 465 pupils are from ethnic minorities and a vast proportion do not speak English as a first language.'

We live in a mad, mad, mad, mad world!
(I wonder if Jo Brand has been following this sad tale?)

Finally behind bars - where he belongs!

"He swaggered around Scotland Yard believing he was above the law. Commander Ali Dizaei bullied, intimidated and threatened anyone who crossed his path. If that didn't work, the Iranian-born officer accused them of being racist. But yesterday his reign of corruption came to a dramatic end when he was condemned as a 'criminal in uniform' and given four years in jail for trying to frame an innocent man. Following a bust-up in a restaurant, Dizaei, 47, told colleagues that an Iraqi website designer had assaulted him. It was a pack of lies and yesterday, after a four-week trial, a jury took just two-and-a-half hours to convict Dizaei of misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice."
It is clear, and long has been, that this egregious individual is a total rogue and this whole, lengthy charade is one of the more scarey aspects of political correctness. One must also ask why he gained these promotions in the first place - I certainly have my own ideas on that!
All too many are 'playing the race card' and pretending that legitimate complaints are simply 'racism in disguise'.
Every time these claims are made - out come the kid gloves. In this world NOBODY dares risk being branded 'racist' and consequently, a great many injustices are perpetrated.
This is not just found in matters of crime but exists in schools and many-a-workplace. Employers are terrified of dismissing anybody who can make baseless accusation.
After all - MUD STICKS.
There is a possible solution. Let it be known that strong legal action can and will be taken against anybody who abuses the system. This applies to 'cry wolf' claimants as much as to actual racist acts.
This kind of behaviour drags race relations down into the gutter and must end!

Lucky Labour!

Labour's support will never plummet so far that that party is wiped out - as indeed it deserves to be!
It has three areas of core support which it has supported to the hilt and which will never desert it.
These are: the public sector - in particular the more bureaucratic sections, the devotees and abusers of the benefits system and of course, recent immigrants.
These three groups of vested interests will always vote for the Labour milch cow.
Those who really should go nowhere near that party at all are the traditional working classes! Sadly, many have still not realised this and those who have, have switched to voting BNP!

So - immigration isn't a problem?

'Schools in just one town are having to cope with pupils who speak 150 different languages, a survey has found.
They range from the Ghanaian dialect of Akan, through the African language of Chichewa and the ancient Aztec tongue of Nahuatl to the Indian language of Telugu.
This is as well as the more common foreign languages of Urdu, Punjabi and Polish. Mixed: Schoolchildren in Reading use 150 different languages. (Posed by models)
The survey in Reading, Berkshire, shows how schools are being put under mounting pressure by the rising levels of pupils who do not speak English as their first language.'

Now tell me that the indigenous population is not being damaged by uncontrolled immigration.
Would you want your children/grandchildren to be educated in this town - or the hundreds more which are just like it?

Climate poll.

According to a Populus Poll published yesterday, the number of believers in Climate Change/Global Warming throughout the population has dropped by a startling 10% in less than three months and the polling was done in November before the rotten weather set in - which must have lost the 'warmists' quite a few more.
Of those who are believers, the number accepting that this is man-made are also tumbling.

1 John 3:1
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!"

TCF has an interesting guest.

The superb expat Church I always visit when in Torrevieja, TCF, has a noted guest coming up in early March. It is the former Manfred Man lead singer, Paul Jones along with his wife Fiona.
After debating against Christianity in the 70s, he was invited to a Luis Palau meeting in the 1980s where he met the Living Christ - and surrendered to reality.

Harridan Harperson despicable? Hypocritical? - You guess!

'Harriet Harman was facing Labour fury last night over claims that she briefly suspended her support for all-women shortlists – so her husband can land a safe Commons seat.
Ms Harman, 59, who has led the party’s drive to swell the number of its female MPs, was mysteriously absent from a key meeting which decided not to impose an all-women list in Birmingham Erdington.
The seat, which had a Labour majority of nearly 10,000 at the last election, is being lined up for Ms Harman’s husband, union boss Jack Dromey.'

God is Almighty.

Moving on from recent comments made by me to the effect that it is arrogant to 'cancel' God by absurd claims that 'the Nature of God proves His non-existence', let us consider a further act of arrogance.
I have heard too many people who are anti-God declare that it is somehow unfair that God should be allowed to make the rules and worse, that this is in fact 'arrogance' on God's part.
If God does exist it is hardly unreasonable to conclude that He must be omnipotent and is difficult to see how He could not be omniscient against this backcloth.
Only if I, or any other imperfect human should decide to 'make the rules', could this argument be valid, based as it is on our imperfections.

In the case of a perfect God - this simply could not apply. The logic is deeply flawed. The atheist must now try to prove that 'God is not perfect'.
Good luck - you'll need it!

Mass immigration.

Now that members of that sleeping dragon, The Townswomens Guild have decided to speak out against mass immigration, perhaps it is overdue for me to assess the roots of the problem with a few, limited, key points in a giant issue.
(Before that - an apology for the cartoon which is based on the South of the USA - but I liked it!)

1) Immigrants are human beings and not just statistics. That obviously does not mean that they should be automatically entitled to work/settle here.
2) Refugees who are genuinely in fear of their lives should be considered but the question must always be asked as to why they have crossed so many borders in order to come to the UK. In UN terms we have no neighbouring countries with threatened citizens and consequently no legal obligations.
3) All people have the right to seek to better themselves - but this does not mean that this should be at our expense.
4) Invariably, immigrants come from the poorest of nations - to one of the wealthiest. They cannot be blamed for trying this but England has now got the densest population in the world (And I am not referring to the tendency to put Labour governments in power - or am I?)
5) Many have claimed rights to settle here by having held passports from Commonwealth countries. This loophole has been largely closed.
6) Consider the EU. 'Our citizens have the right to go anywhere - so it is only reasonable to expect reciprocation'. The problem here is that France & Spain apart, few of our population want to move to EU countries. France & Spain are considerably larger than England with much greater available space. It is also necessary to consider who is going where. The Brits who leave these shores are largely the retired who take vast amounts of money with them to bolster the economies of France & Spain. The other point is that the workers who go there are our skilled workers we cannot easily afford to lose - perhaps a majority to serve the needs of expats.
7) 'Immigrants do the jobs that British people will not do.' This statement is true but makes me extremely angry.
That the unemployed may choose not to take a job because it is low paid or unpleasant is just unacceptable. What is more, if you believe this - it means that you are justifying a practice which is immoral as you consider willing foreigners to be 'less' than our shirkers.
If people want 'good jobs' they must take the poorer ones until they have made themselves more employable at a higher level.
8)' Immigrants bring needed skills to the UK.' This is true to an extent. But are we stealing needed skills from developing countries? Are they always actually needed or are they frequently displacing skilled people of our own?
9) 'Well, the UK is a multicultural society'. No it isn't! It is British and happily accepts valid incomers who choose to integrate. 'Multiculture' is the pernicious invention of the liberal-left.
10) 'Numbers aren't the issue.' ROT! Extra pressure on: transport, housing, medical care, schools, employment et al are real and very serious. What of the newly created ghetto areas in many cities?

The Guild are right. (Is right?)

Man has three basic needs - not two.

Have you ever looked at people, asked what motivates them and what makes them happy?
Far too often, we can spot those who strive for promotions, salary increases and wealth and we see individuals who are not happy so they do more of the same.
One of my favourite cartoons showed two plutocrats. One is sighing and saying to the other "Wealth beyond the dreams of avarice just isn't enough any more."
Why does modern man always greedily want more and more? Why are so few satisfied when they already have enough - and in many cases, a great deal more than that?
The reason is very simple. Mankind understands that it is necessary to consider physical and mental health but all too easily forgets that there has to be spiritual development too.
Without these three facets, nobody can ever be complete as a human being. I personally believe that this essence of Man reflects the fact that God is also Somebody who exists in three persons.
If you hadn't grasped why the deification of mankind is so abhorrent, it is because its (inevitably leftwing) proponents wish to expunge from society something, which for generations, has been an essential constituent of social progress.
Vague spirituality cannot fill this gap!

Labour hypocrisy knows NO bounds.

Margaret Hodge could lose her seat in the worst possible way for a Labour politician. Her response is to suddenly start talking sense in public.[ ??? ] Seldom have I seen such hypocrisy - even in the ranks of the party where it is a way of life.
She may console herself with recognition of the fact that were Labour to be re-elected, the idea would be promptly buried - a fact of which she is abundantly aware.

'Migrants would be forced to 'earn' the right to benefits and council housing over several years under explosive plans outlined today by a senior Labour minister.
Margaret Hodge warns British values of openness and tolerance are under threat because of an increasing sense of 'unfairness' over immigration.
The Culture Minister is calling for a new points system - based on length of residence or national insurance contributions - to determine that only migrants who have made a fair contribution to society get the same rights as local families.
Mrs Hodge, who is facing a General Election challenge from BNP leader Nick Griffin, told the Daily Mail it was time to 'lance the boil' of growing discontent over the wave of economic migrants entering Britain.
Labour strategists fear there are signs that the far-Right BNP will mount a 'serious challenge' in her Barking, East London seat.'

Pretentious - moi?

"But Henri - you can't ban me from your bistro. It's my chez away from chez!"

Frasier Crane.

The Green Party.

The Green Party is not cuddly; it is not just a tad over-the-top on a single issue; it is not filled with 'romantic, sandal-wearing tree-huggers'.
Essentially, this a marxist organisation which has gained respectability as they 'care' - and do so in public. It is riddled with former members of the old communist party who see this 'green kick' as a vehicle for implementing old-style marxist policies.

No! The greens are watermelons - Green on the outside - red on the inside.

It is certainly rare that I can find a positive for the BNP. Well, I finally have one. They are less extreme, more democratic and certainly, less dangerous than the Greens.
Think I am overstating my case? Please read their manifesto. Last time I did, I discovered plans to bully, vastly extend the role of the state and to disenfranchise voters who dare disagree with them!!!! (Their policies on law and order will make you gasp in horror!)

Very few who cast votes in their direction know what they are voting for!

The Lex Talionis.

There seems to have been a deliberate attempt by the liberal-left, and indeed liberal Christians, to denigrate the lex talionis (Eye for an eye principle of the Old Testament.)
With the more politicised individuals this has been a rather lame attempt to portray the ideal as cruel, over the top and a pretence that the Scriptures are 'barbaric'.

The liberal christians use Matthew 5:39 somewhat disingenuously as grist to their mill by pointing out that Jesus told Christians to 'turn the other cheek' instead of seeking revenge.

The problem here is that Jesus clearly forbade all revenge and this has nothing whatsoever to do with legitimate punishments imposed by society. Clearly, even the liberal types believe in some level of social punishment and they choose to miss the point that the lex talionis was never about revenge in the first place. It was an attempt to ensure that social punishments were balanced. The lex talionis was instituted to prevent punishments that were greater (or less) than the level of crime committed.
If their arguments are followed to a logical conclusion - there could never be any earthly punishments of any type permitted by Jesus - which is fatuous nonsense.
No. The lex talionis is all a question of degree.
Again, to re-emphasise the point Jesus was talking to individual Christians about their personal attitudes. He was not removing a valid principle from the authorities but was teaching that 'we have no right to take the Law into our own hands' - which had clearly been the Jewish abuse of the principle.
Against this backcloth, it is necessary to distinguish between vengeance and retribution. The former is always wrong and is ultimately, personal. The latter is essentially neutral.
Retribution is desirable - it produces social vindication and in the final analysis, justice. Revenge is always negative. The individual cannot execute retributive justice on his/her own behalf.

Another resounding success for Labour's ASBOs!

'A senior judge today criticised the 'remarkable leniency' shown to a violent youth which left him free to stab a teenage Army cadet to death in an unprovoked attack.
Tearaway gang member James Moore was not locked up despite breaking the law 'almost monthly' from the age of 13 and breaching orders meant to control his behaviour a staggering 45 times.
Tragically he went on to lead a vengeful mob attack following a clash between rival factions from neighbouring inner-city Liverpool streets which was to claim the entirely innocent life of Joseph Lappin - who like him was aged just 16.'

But ...

Whenever you finally catch out a misbehaving and probably mendacious child, the first response tends to be: "Well, I did BUT ..."
Big word - innit?
The problem is that every time you get these 'big buts' you know that remorse is absent and repentance impossible.
The real problem is that it isn't just children!
