I would never be so presumptuous as to make comments about the fate of Madeleine McCann as so many do, because I am not in possession of sufficient information to be able to do so.I would however have been considerably happier had both parents been subjected to polygraph testing from the outset. Although this has little value for court proceedings, it would at least have guaranteed that the Portuguese police were not wasting their time hunting Maddy in wrong directions.
It was stated about a month ago that the parents were willing to take a lie detector test.
Why has this not happened? Is it simply unreported?
