Once again, and with an unerring certainty, journalist Melanie Phillips places her arrow in the dead centre of the bullseye.In today's outstanding piece in The Daily Mail, she utterly destroys that 'pernicious' doctrine of multiculturalism.
This Blog has frequently pointed out that this insidious ideal has become synonymous to the unthinking and the mentally lazy, with 'good race relations'.
The two ideas are as far apart as the east and the west. The latter is self explanatory but 'multiculturalism' is a damaging force, designed by the liberal left to undermine and dilute any sense of national identity by stealth.
It would claim that all cultures and religions are equally valid .- [ Perhaps time to reconsider our attitudes to female, genital mutilation, then?]
The idea is propagated in many schools as 'one giant, happy melting pot' but it is a means to destabilise a society; to make it vulnerable.
