Although Christ attacked the abuse of wealth, even when He went as far as to talk about camels and needles, He did point out that salvation through God's grace was still in the frame.There is no doubt in my mind after recent travels that we in the West are indeed rich - although how long this continues is quite a different matter.
The secret is obvious, though. Like the widow in The Temple - we must give until it hurts.
