I shall either abstain from the AV vote tomorrow - or may just 'spoil' the paper by writing, 'PR, please.'
FPTP is a disgrace to democracy.
AV does not improve the situation of under-representation.
Under a fair PR system, UKIP's near 1 million votes last election should have brought 36 seats + the extras which would have come from voters realising that this vote would have counted.
Under FPTP - NO seats.
However, under AV it would have been ... er ... NO seats!
