Mealy-Mouthed Dishonesty.

As we remember the great fallen, I have been  horrified in recent days as I have stood pensively on the sidelines witnessing what hopefully will prove to be the death throes of the EU.
An 'old chestnut' has been regularly trotted out with 'the dulce old lie' in claims that 'The EU has kept the peace in Europe since 1945'.

I wonder if there is any level of calculated dishonesty to which europhiles will not sink?
