Insulting somebody who has ginger hair is apparently less serious. Mocking somebody who is disabled is at worst a minor 'public order offence'. 'Effing and blinding' at one of HM's representatives in the Police Force is simply considered trivial.
To compound this matter - it is interesting that he was found guilty and condemned based on the word of a single person - the alleged victim.
Had there not been an alleged 'racist content' to the remark - would his guilt have been assumed quite so readily? - I doubt it!
Why is Evra considered more trustworthy than Suarez? This would certainly have been thrown out by any Bench when I was chairing!
PS. If he'd thumped Evra - he'd have got a THREE match ban! Our world has gone totally MAD!
