Hans-Jürgen Papier.
In an interview with Welt, the former president of the
German Constitutional Court Hans-Jürgen Papier calls for competencies to be
claimed back from the EU level, arguing that “You cannot always blindly
centralise and think only about further European extension”, citing
environmental legislation and consumer protection in particular, also adding
that “Europe should also become more humble”.Welt
