Fidel Castro began a revolt against the Batista
regime in Cuba in 1953.
His clarion call was 'democracy'. This revolt
failed but in under 6 years Castro was the new, marxist dictator of the
island.
Approaching 55 years after his success - the Cuban people are still wondering where this 'democracy' is going to be found.
