Please urge UN not to spend UK taxes on abortion
Sir Mark Lyall Grant is expected to take part in private
negotiations over the next few weeks to discuss how the UN will spend billions
in aid. He will reportedly argue that priority should be given to
spending on “sexual and reproduction health” services over other needs such as
clean water, nutrition, medication and education
services.
CitizenGo’s petition urges the UN not to endorse “narrowly focussed, controversial health policies that include abortion” but to embrace a “positive and comprehensive vision of health that does justice to both mothers and children”.
