That Test Victory - A Final Thought.

I captained my departmental team at University for, I think, three seasons - not all that many matches, admittedly, but a 100% win ratio was not unimpressive. So, along with the excellent Sky commentators, I have torn out the remnants of my hair as Alastair has captained appallingly badly for a year. I honestly feel that I could have done a better job!

So what was it that brought about the phenomenal change in attitude? How come a tired England won thirteen sessions out of thirteen? And the biggest question of all - WHY has it taken a year to adopt a sensible approach? Even with a new coach, why had the same old same old been permitted to continue?
Poor attendances? - Can anyone truly be surprised?
