N.Korea: American Christians Released.

President Barack Obama said the United States was "very grateful" for the safe release of two American citizens who were being held in North Korea. Kenneth Bae and Matthew Todd Miller were freed from detention on Saturday and are returning home, accompanied by James Clapper, the director of national intelligence. "It's a wonderful day for them and their families," Mr Obama said. "Obviously we are very grateful for their safe return and I appreciate Director Clapper doing a great job on what was obviously a challenging mission." The pair were the last Americans held by North Korea following the release last month of Jeffrey Fowle, a street repair worker from Ohio detained for nearly six months. Mr Bae, a 46-year-old missionary from Lynnwood, Washington state, was arrested in North Korea in November 2012 and sentenced to 15 years of hard labour for crimes against the state.
