We often hear about 'the scapegoating of
immigrants'.
Although that is perhaps what some ignorant members of
the population do indeed do - it is most reprehensible to transfer this idea to UKIP,
which is the disingenuous attack method applied by so many on the
left.
This is a political party which regrets what has
happened with mass immigration but tries hard never to be seen as demonising the
immigrants themselves. Consequently, the party tries to accept all legal
immigrants with a cheerful smile but wishes to control further waves of people
for which the nation is not equipped.
