Baroness Cox defends muslim women in UK.

Baroness Cox is speaking up on behalf of muslim women in Britain. Under Sharia law, a muslim woman can be sent back to an abusive husband or denied equal inheritance. Although these women can, in theory, access justice in the British legal system, family pressure is often so great that women suffer quietly. Baroness Cox observes: “Cultural sensitivity seems to be justifying practices that contravene the fundamental qualities of our democracy – one law for everyone.”  Christian Concern.
