Democracy: Let's Do A Proper Job.

Now that we hopefully have Brexit - let's not stop there. Let us put the country right. Let us have a full PR voting system.

Let us also see the House of Lords abolished and the Upper House become an elected body with PR.

I would be quite prepared to see a small number - maybe, say, 5% of 'Lords' to be appointed because of their expertise in a particular and important field. These should be entirely non-political.

The monarchy would be unaffected as the Queen's role, politically, is effectively, no more than a rubber-stamping exercise. She is our Head of State and 'above politics'.
