Graham Taylor, RIP.

One of the greatest of club managers and less of a failure than most at managing the England football team during his tenure in the early 90s, Graham was one of the greats of English football.
He was well-liked and admired in so many quarters.
I also knew his Dad, Tom (nicknamed 'Poacher' in his local press role) - indeed, I recall getting into a slanging match with him after he had treated me most unpleasantly following my having done him a lengthy series of favours - possibly because of my tender years at that time. I do not really know.
However, he then seemed to appreciate that I had stood up for myself and, thereafter, we had a pretty decent relationship whenever our paths crossed.

Oh Dear.
