Why did Jeremy Corbyn meet with Ján Sarkocy in the Eighties? Did he, as reported, warn him of a crackdown by British intelligence? Did he understand that he was a spy for communist Czechoslovakia? Did he care? Mr Corbyn calls all of this a ‘‘smear’’ but Mr Sarkocy believes Mr Corbyn knew exactly who he was talking to and his analysis of the Labour leader is damning: honest but stupid.
Mr Corbyn is certainly not qualified to be prime minister. He’s not qualified to be leader of the Labour Party, either – even if its standards are rather low. What more do its members need to know before they boot him out?
