In A Proper Society, These Would Be Capital Offences.

Betrayed by the 'shy and polite' boy they took into their home: Iraqi asylum seeker, 18, is found guilty of trying to blow up 93 Parsons Green commuters with bomb built with his foster parents' Tupperware while they were on holiday

Iraqi asylum seeker is found guilty of Parsons Green bombing
Ahmed Hassan, 18, left his native Iraq and travelled through Turkey, Italy and France before getting into the UK on the back of the lorry coming through the Channel Tunnel. While his foster parents (inset) were away on holiday last summer, he studied YouTube videos on how to make explosives, before building a bomb from household objects including Tupperware boxes, a vase and 2.2kg of knives, screwdrivers and nails. Hassan then left the device on a busy District Line train travelling through Parsons Green, where it luckily failed to properly detonate (pictured), but still injured 30 passengers. Mail.
